Superintendent Jack and Another v Hosein
In this Trinidadian case Hosein was charged with breaches of the customs laws and offences under the Firearms Act. According to the writer, the case is significant since Sharma J has impliedly taken giant steps forward in making our system of jurisprudnece our own. To achieve this goal, Sharma J examined the motives of both Parliament and the Judiciary in enacting legislation and making judicial decisions respectively.
