Abstract

Fourteen cultivars of finger millet (Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn.) were screened for multiple disease resistance to blast, helminthosporiose, foot-rot, smut and virus diseases. A multiple disease index value was assigned, where the susceptible check Puma scored 53.28. 181E had 10.13, followed by IE 1012 (17.03) and MR 3 (17.64).
