Storage of ‘Hass’ avocados in polyethylene bags

Storage of avocado fruits (cv. 'Hass') at 10°C was considerably extended by packing individual fruits in sealed polyethylene bags particularly when an ethylene absorbent was packed with the fruit. The incidence of anthracnose limited the storage life.
