Effect of temperature on the storage life of bananas held in polyethylene bags with ethylene absorbent
Abstract
The storage life of bananas over a range of temperatures from 10 to 37ºC was considerably increased by packing the fruit in sealed polyethylene bags. The addition of potassium permanganate as an ethylene absorbent further increased the storage life.How to Cite
