Abstract

DBCP vapour applied to a sandy clay loam soil increased available phosphorus and exchangeable potassium, calcium and magnesium by 76, 72·9, 15·2 and 7·1 per cent respectively. Possible biological and chemical processes are suggested to account for the observed increases.
