Note on the identification and distribution of Moko disease in Grenada

Abstract

Bacterial wilt (Moko disease) of banana and bluggoe caused by an SFR strain of Race 2 Pseudomonas solanacearum has been confirmed in Grenada. The disease is present principally on bluggoe in an area of approximately 10 km2 in the northern part of the island.
