Note on the effects of B9 and CCC on the growth and flowering of tannia (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) plants treated or not with GA

S. Alamu, C.R. McDavid

Abstract

B9 and CCC had no effect on the growth and flowering of GA treated and untreated tannia plants, except for a positive interaction between CCC and GA on axillary leaf system production; reduced cormel initiation in response to CCC; and a delay of nine days in the appearance of the first inflorescence in GA treated plants when the retardants were applied 56 days after planting.
