Effect of sweet potato leaf scab (Elsinoe batatas) on sweet potato tuber yield

Abstract

In a trial in Simbu Province, Papua New Guinea, sweet potato tuber yields were reduced by infection of the plant by sweet potato leaf scab (Elsinoe batatas). Tuber number was the most severely affected yield parameter.
