Abstract

Three members of the NRDC series of synthetic pyrethroids, decamethrin, permethrin and cypermethrin, were evaluated for contact toxicity and field efficacy against the sugar-cane froghopper, Aeneolamia varia saccharina (Dist.). The baseline toxicological data and field evaluation of these pyrethroids are presented and field application rates are recommended.
