Effects of soil ameliorants on lime-induced chlorosis, growth and nodulation in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Abstract

In pots supplied with the equivalent of 20 t ha-1 of green manure, lime-induced chlorosis was suppressed in groundnut cv 'Starr', and plant height, leaf number, leaf area, shoot weight, nodule weight and number were significantly increased. Iron chelates failed to give a significant response.
