Fertilizer replacement trials with Raphanus sativus L.
Keywords:
Chemical fertilizer replacement, Ipomoea fistulosa, Digested slurryAbstract
The replacement of chemical fertilizers, fully or partially, through green biomass (Ipomoea fistulosa Mart, ex Choisy), its digested slurry and biogas slurry was studied for radish, a root crop. Application of digested slurry to replace half the N of chemical fertilizer gave better yields than its total replacement. The effect of organic fertilizer on the physico-chemical properties of the soil was also studied.Issue
