Abstract

A semi-erect, dwarf, bushy type was isolated from the sexual progeny of white yam (Dioscorea rotundata Poir.). It is a highly fertile male clone with regular flowering and completely spineless stems. The plant type is ideally suitable for cultivation without staking.
