Abstract

An investigation was carried out to compare the efficacy of various phytohormones in sprouting and shoot formation of single-node leaf cuttings in Dioscorea floribunda Mart. & Gal. Success in this study was 98.6 and 86% with Seradix-B2 (a proprietary preparation) and 2000 ppm of indol-3-butyric acid, respectively, in shoot formation.
