Combined use of morpholine and triazole fungicides for the management of blister blight of tea. (49)

U.I. Baby, D. Ajay, R. Premkumar

Morpholine-triazole fungicide mixtures were evaluated for their efficacy in controlling blister blight disease and on the quality of made tea. The combination treatments protected the plants from the disease at half the dosage recommended in the respective ergosterol biosynthesis inhibiting schedules and they were also found to be economical. Among the combinations, tridemorph-hexaconazole and tridemorph-propiconazole were superior compared to tridemorph-bitertanol. The fungicide treatments resulted in an increase in yield and quality of made tea.
