Abstract

The Caribbean Court of Justice has reiterated its unequivocal intention to ensure that felons are disallowed from hiding behind the corporate veil. But, though agreeable, from a public policy perspective, the stance of the Court must be approached with a level of caution. This article is a clarion call to maintain the corporate form and to seek to hold corporations liable in criminal cases.
