Abstract

This paper examines the experiences of education, family and social life of three individuals who are differentiated by gender, age, country of birth, occupation and maritial status. What they have in common though is that they all have been or are students of The University of the West Indies and they have experienced some form of disability. Provides a brief biography of each. Concludes by noting that although the experiences of two of the individuals have geared them towards being advocates for persons with disabilities, this has not been the case for one of the three.
