Abstract

In the early 1990s, while the author was still a postgraduate student, and Herb Addo was his Ph. D supervisor, they held a series of staff/student seminars at IR, and Herb Addo made a presentation on "the Caribbean in the World System." Pays tribute to Herb Addo as he presents, from tapes made at that session, some of the key concepts made in that presentation.
