Assessment of One Child Right in Jamaica

It is seen that both Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago have done much by way of legislation and other means to adhere to the rights of the child to protection from all forms of violence as stipulated by Article 19 of the CRC. In addition to legislative changes and enactments, both countries have undergone paradigm shifts, institutional changes as well as cultural changes in the ways children are viewed and subsequently, issues that impact the level of adherence to the CRC.
